When Oswin and I stepped out of the jewelry shop, he turned to me and asked, "I thought you said this locket was a waste of money. Then why did we end up buying two instead of one?"
"I decided to turn a blind eye to my money-saving theory and bought you an identical locket. I can't help it. They look good. The design is the same, only the color is different. Your locket is gold, whereas mine is silver," I said, beaming from ear to ear, which was rare because I had never liked spending much money. But today was special. So, I didn’t mind.
