Aside from several scratches and bruises, I suffered no injury. However, my entire body went numb. It hurt more than I could describe. Every part of my limbs became heavy, as if it weighed tons of kilograms. My internal organs began to shut themselves down when Oswin was no longer listening to my words. I asked my boyfriend to open his eyes, yet the latter refused to do so. I demanded an answer when I called my loved one's name, but Oswin stubbornly kept his lips shut. Though I knew it wasn't intentional, it still pained me to the core, for this involuntary recalcitrant could only confirm one thing.
