OSWIN's POV It had been three days since the not-go-well discussion at breakfast. Ever since then, Elena and I have only spoken to each other when necessary. Though I tried to act normal, she refused to cooperate. That was why we mostly just ate in silence every day when we got back from work. Everything between us and surrounding us changed, including how I switched places to sleep on the couch while she took the bed. Another thing I noticed was how much thinner she had become.
