I spent the whole afternoon preparing everything for the evening.
Joshua had told me about his favorite food, which I would cook tonight. I made fresh pasta, put it in the fridge and then prepared the food for the pack.
When I was done in the kitchen, I went into our apartment. Joshua had given me a key the very first day I was back at work.
As the tomato sauce simmered on the stove, I hopped in the shower.
Afterwards, I brushed my teeth and touched up my eyeliner. I put on one of the new dresses that Joshua liked so much and then looked in the mirror with satisfaction.
