Mary POV
Running together was amazing, Yuna almost flew through the forest and enjoyed her freedom. Annie's wolf was almost as fast as Yuna but a little smaller. Her wolf was also very bright but not as white as Yuna.
We ran through the forest together and we had already seen so many animals. When we took a short break at a lake, a deer came by, I had been completely mesmerized.
Yuna and I understood each other without words, her feelings flowed through me like a stream and it felt completely natural, if they were my own thoughts.
We were on our way back to the pack house when Yuna perked up her ears.
Mary, quick, we have to get out of the forest. I heard Annie's voice in my head and was immediately startled, as I wasn't used to the mind-link yet.
