The week had gone by so quickly now that my family has been here. Annie's father and siblings had also arrived for my mating ceremony. It really felt like a wedding.
I stood in front of the mirror in our apartment, looking at myself in my gorgeous dress. There had been a whole line of stylists in our apartment this morning, styling me first, then Annie and my mom. Then they had gone on to style all the other women of my family. Joshua had disappeared early this morning.
"Do you really have to leave?" I had asked, causing him to laugh.
"Yes, I have things to do with Marc and my brothers. Besides, Annie will be coming to see you soon, you won't have time to miss me." Joshua had said and kissed me gently.
"I'll see you later, I love you Mary."
"I love you too." I said and kissed
