Chapter thirteenFor too long a moment I just stood there. The vision of that reekingly evil character persisted. Two shadows, one red, the other green, drifted across the clearing before me, each suffused by a wash of color from the other sun. The Suns were sinking now and the rays slanted into the forest. I looked up. Instantly I was running like a maniac — running into the nearest of the trees. I’d expected to see Shankjid up there, sailing to my rescue.
