I"m still worried about the crow that got hit and want to go check, but Uncle Abe takes no cotton to delay, and we wing our way back to the meadow and our human selves. The sky darkened while we were watching the action, even though it"s early afternoon. The air smells of coming rain, and I can hear the low rumble of thunder.
