Lamar’s sisters, Zake, Cody and his teammates, finally caught up with Lola, who was seated on the couch in the hospital corridor.
“Lola, you can’t just leave. Lamar needs you,” Zoey urged.
“You heard your horrible parents. What would you have Lola do?” Zake snapped. He just did not understand why Lamar’s sister was urging Lola not to leave when her parents were calling Lola names and chasing her away.
“I don’t know what she can do, but she can’t leave. Lamar needs all of us here, especially her,”Jennifer responded, in agreement with her sister.
“Tell that to your stupid parents,” Cody sneered.
“Hey! Stop talking like they have control over their parents' actions. We are all on the same side here,” Captain BB warned.
“Can you all just stop talking and give me a chance to think,”
