“What are you doing?” Dominic asked, taking me off guard as he did.
I turned to face the man, surprised that he would care about me holding a pillow to begin with. I looked at the bed for a second and shook my head before putting the pillow down.
“I am trying to make the room more cozy. It has zero life in it, I am trying to add to that.” I said, and the man frowned.
“I would be worried if the room has other life in it. Especially one that I cannot see.” He said, making me laugh. He shook his head, and I crossed my arms over my chest, trying to stop myself from making a sarcastic remark.
“I know that you wouldn’t understand, but it is a girl’s thing. I want to add my touch, add a little color, you know. I would have added a plant or two, but I don’t know if that is a good idea
