“I'm sorry but I'm lost, since when do you take her out on dates?” Mother asked, looking at me as I entered the house. I looked at her for a moment, studying her expression, before shaking my head.
Thankfully, Liana went to the room the second that we went inside. She needed to change her clothes and get some rest. The drive has been long and after the long two days, the two of us were somewhat exhausted. The idea of her not wanting to go back home yesterday was something that I was happy about. At least that told me and let me know that I did something right.
