For the first time since the two of us have come to terms of a few agreements, I chose not to approach Liana’s room, knowing that she was probably surprised by my action and the fact that I needed to clear my head.
And to my surprise, she didn’t even bother approaching the room. She stayed in her own bedroom, watching movie after the other until the night became cold. She didn’t leave the room, didn’t even join the pack for dinner. One that I knew that she made.
For the first time since marrying her and my mother leaving, the light that flowed in the house, was dimmed. The pack members were quiet, Riley was in her room, and she didn’t bother to try and change that. If anything, it was as if she was purposely staying in her room, away from everything and everyone.
