I woke up to an arm tightening around me, taking me off guard.
I opened my eyes to find Dominic looking down at me with a gentle smile, his eyes softening as he chuckled.
“You dozed off watching your movie.” He said, his voice deeper than I thought that I would hear as it was filled with both exhaustion and sleep.
“When did you wake up?” I asked, and he chuckled.
“Good morning to you too,” he said, and I shook my head at him before sitting up, embarrassed by the fact that I was sleeping in his arms in the first place. His warmth was comforting, and I knew that it was something that I enjoyed, but I also knew not to get used to it. His words about me not getting used to things, not making the pack members get used to them, and how harsh the man was played in my head. I knew not
