*Chloe* 'Tonight's the night. Are you ready?' I stared at the phone in my hand, reading a text from Alex. The air had that level of energy you get right before a thunderstorm. Was I ready? How could anyone be ready for a stint serving as live bait? The plan we'd come up with was solid, and there were plenty of ways to mitigate the danger.
