Chapter 7 : Ariana

Ariana

Alvin's P O V :

"Alex, calm the f**k down ", I shouted over the phone.

"I know what he did was unforgivable, but we have to keep looking for him" I said and tried to knock some sense into him.

"Hang on, I am getting another call" I said as I hung up. It was uncle Benjamin.

"Hello uncle " I said.

"Ariana is missing" he said in a panicked voice.

"What do you mean she is missing" ?

"It was her first shift , she was supposed to come back but it was more than twenty hours ago and there was no sign of her."

"Alvin, I think it's happening" said uncle Benjamin in a voice that sent shivers down to my spine.

"Uncle, are you sure " I asked impatiently.

"Yes Alvin I'm sure , just come here as soon as possible". He said and hanged up. I immediately called Alex and Derek.

Derek's P O V :

"Oh come on mate , don't make me suffer " I said as I saw Arhaan getting ready for a night out.

As my mate said, he was tired of taking care of two pairs of twins, so he needed a break. That's why Arhaan, along with Sky and some other young mothers were going for a night out.

Arhaan was looking sexy as f**k with his denim jeans and black stripped shirt.

"Don't forget to give both of them lots of good night kisses. Remember Erine likes to be rocked while Deren just prefers to be messaged, " he said while wearing his shoes.

"Yes boss , anything else" I said in a mocking tone.

He turned and walked towards me. Arhaan sat in my lap, making my breath hitch.

"Well, if you both behave well and take good care of kids, then maybe I will reward you both later " He said each word slowly, whispering in my ear.

Damn, that worked like a charm and I was instantly hard as a rock. I caressed his soft plum lips, but before I could kiss my beautiful mate, my phone rang. It was Alvin.

"Hello". The moment I spoke I heard a deep exhale of breath and I knew some very serious s**t had happened.

" Uncle Benjamin just called. Ariana is missing. They think it's happening. We have to leave now" he said all in one breath.

As a father of a Black Moon girl, both Erik and I were always in deep thoughts. From the day our sweet little girl was born we were always protective and possessive of her . We wanted to know as much as we could regarding this matter. We were both spending a good amount of time gathering knowledge and input. Uncle Benjamin was a great help, but every Black Moon girl was different, so we had to be prepared.

"Erik is coming to our room now", I told my brother over mind link who was babysitting the twins.

Arhaan was a bit puzzled seeing the sudden change in my mood.

"Arhaan, you have to cancel your plan" I said and he just nodded. Thank Goddess for giving us such a thoughtful mate.

A few seconds later, Erik arrived and he noticed the atmosphere.

"What's with the serious face ", Erik said as he sat down in bed next to me.

"Ariana is missing " I said and in a second Erik's face fell.

Arhaan's P O V :

I knew something was off. After the call ended, Derek suddenly became serious and, even now, Erik looked like he had just faced his worst nightmare.

"What do you mean by She is missing" I asked Derek.

They both just looked at each other and then turned their heads to me.

"There is something you should know. Something we should have told you sooner", Derek said.

" We were reading and acquiring every piece of knowledge we could so we could prepare for it ", Erik said.

"Told me What"

"Preparing for What Erik" I asked, my voice becoming louder. Somehow, I had a hunch whatever they were about to tell me wasn't a very good thing.

"It's about Erine. There is something special about her. Every Black Moon girl is unique and special in her own way", Derek said.

"Unique and special as in .... " ?

"Legend has it our great great great grandmother was the daughter of the Moon Goddess. She was feared and respected by many. Our kind worshipped her. After her demise, her daughter , our great-great grandmother, was even more special and had abilities that no wolf ever had. She was the first golden wolf," Derek said.

I didn't understand. What does that have to do with my Erine?

" Every Black Moon girl is special, making them a perfect candidate for those who want to achieve impossible things. Ariana is the first Black Moon girl in a century. After she shifted and embraced the lupine life, something must have happened as she didn't return to the pack even after twenty hours. " Erik said.

Okay... Ariana ... Does that mean my Erine ... my eyes widened as the realization hit me.

"Erine is special" both Erik and Derek said in unison, and at that point I released my breath which even I didn't realize I was holding.

"Special as in ... " I asked , my voice was quivering.

" We don't know that. We will learn as she grows up. All we know for sure is she is special so we have to protect her from all evil, " Derek said.

I got up and ran towards the kid's room. Both Deren and Erine were asleep. I looked at my precious little ones trying to digest the fact that someday something would knock on our door, creating havoc in all of our lives. After kissing them on their foreheads , I turned around and saw both Derek and Erik standing by the door. We all proceeded towards our room.

" So what now " I asked them.

" Well, we have to go there. Alex , Alvin and Allen are coming here. We will meet them directly at the airport and we will go from there, " Derek said.

" Trust us baby, we will never let any harm come to our kids", Erik said.

"Okay" .

Allen's P O V :

I felt like the Moon Goddess was enjoying our sufferings. After nine years, we found our mate only to feel betrayed as he left us, more like he vanished without even a trace or a clue. No one knew where he was. And now Ariana was missing. Ariana was my favorite cousin. Back in childhood, whenever we visited uncle Benjamin, Ariana and I would always play together. I just hope she was all right. I put on my seat belt as the flight was ready to take off.

Author's P O V :

" Miss, excuse me Miss " Ariana heard someone saying.

She tried to open my eyes, which felt very eavy. Suddenly, the man wrapped some clothes around me. Only then did she realize she was naked. She tried to sit but her body was exhausted. So she finally embraced the darkness around her and fell asleep.
