“And what the f**k do you think you are doing here, Mr. Ant….” she asked and he interrupted her midway

“Anthony, it is Anthony, I know you have already forgotten my name but I will gladly remind you, so it is Anthony and oh welcome home, I have been waiting for you but seems like you had a lot of work to do today so I just waited in your porch, I hope I did not offend and If I have then I am really sorry, I just wanted to see you today” he said and she had to close her eyes to avoid blurting out, Becca was not the type of a woman that loved commitment and the same thing applied attachments, she hated being attached to someone or vice versa because that only meant that she had to be committed to the guy again and again and that is why she never called him after he have her his number, she was only doing a one night stand with no feelings, attachments or commitments and that was always her way, Anthony was starting to cross his limits and finding him waiting for her in her porch was the most weird and absurd thing she had expected from him

“Whatever man, why would you be waiting for me in my porch or did you forget something, you could just have called and I would have it delivered to you, this is being clingy, I don’t like where you are headed, now if you don’t mind, I want to get into my house and I think for a business man like you who had lots and several companies to take care of should be at his home with his wife, you should not be roaming in people’s houses right now Mr. Anthony, now if you don’t mind I suggest you leave my premises and go back to your house, you company is not needed tonight I am sorry” she said and headed for her door to open but Anthony just smiled, he knew what he was doing and that is exactly what h was doing, he was to make her fall for him, that way things would be easy on him or at least it would be a good start for his mission

“Hey, I didn’t come here to make you angry, I just wanted to see and I could not have called you because I don’t have your number, I gave you mine but you didn’t call so I decided to show up but if you don’t want me here, I can as well as leave, I didn’t mean to upset you, I came here to see you and not the other way round, forgive my manners” he said and made to leave but she stopped him. In as much as she hated seeing him at her place, Becca was slowly falling for him, it was not as she had expected because that was unlike her, she wanted nothing to do with him but wanted him to be around, there was something special about him that made her want to be with him it was not like always but Becca was falling for Anthony and it was not going to take long before she fall in his trap, that was his mission, to make her vulnerable to him, fall in love with him and when he was sure that she was totally into him, then he would accomplish the mission Mr. Jordan had for him, Jordan was a well known mafia gang group leader and also one of the greatest drug cartels in San Francisco and the other parts of San Diego and Los Angeles, but what the two detective didn’t know was that they were both falling for the sons of the most feared drug cartel and mafia group leader in the three states, what was in for them? Only Michael and Anthony knew the plan they had for the two innocent detectives that knew nothing about what was going on

“Look, I am sorry for my outburst but I didn’t mean to hurt you or make you feel bad, I am just not used to seeing men after our agreed meeting, it was a onetime thing and I will respect if it remained that way, I don’t like commitments and attachments and that is also why I am single, so what really brought here tonight, I was with you just this morning and I don’t expect you to show up at my door, leave alone my place, I think we both have to respect our boundaries here, that will be great for the both of us Anthony” she said as she opened the door and motioned him to go in, he sighed as he sat on the couch and Becca proceeded to hang her jacket on the hanger just near the fleet of stairs

“Okay I am sorry for coming here unannounced, I didn’t really mean to pry but I honestly wanted to see you again, I don’t just want to be your ne night stand, I want to be someone in your life even if it means us being friends, I am equally ready for the offer provided I get to see your pretty face often, it was just not a one night stand to me, I realized that you have a great personality and you don’t really have t do the one night stands, you are beautiful and you deserve the best, a man in your life, a man who can take good care of you and by that I don’t mean that you can’t take care of yourself but sometimes life needs you to be with someone and not just being alone, it is all that matters, your happiness, don’t take it personal, I was just saying” he said and Becca looked at him then shook her head and chuckled

“We just met the other day, barely a day old and here you are trying to lecture me about having a man in my life, about not being lonely and a man taking care of me, I have lots of men in my life, my papa is there, the old man that never left my side for a single day, my bother Tyron, my nephew and niece and I am not alone because I have best friend in my life too, Joanna Martinez, she sure is a whole vibe to me and it is not like I can’t really take care of myself, from what I earn I can take good care of myself and even if I got pregnant right now, I would gladly take care of my kid and give them the best life, so no, I don’t need a man to make me happy and neither do I need a man to take care of me and that man can’t possibly be you, anyway what makes you think that you are the man I deserve to have in my life?” she asked and Anthony chuckled before he spoke, he knew he had a long way to go before he could finally convince her, she was stone headed and nothing he said to her made her change her mind, she was wildly untamed but was going to work really hard just so h could make her understand the beauty and the goodness of having a man in your life

“I didn’t say that I was the perfect man for you Becca and I didn’t mean that you and to date the man for him to be in your life, it could be any man, a friend, a colleague or anyone who cares for you or any guy you care for, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to date them, come on” he said and she chuckled, she chuckled, she knew exactly what he was talking about but wanted to gauge his mind, she wanted to see what he was capable of and what exactly his plans were because to her Anthony was just not straight forward from the word go, she had her doubts on him the moment her eyes landed on him the previous day, there was something fishy about him, something that she really wanted to unravel and find out but he seemed like he was playing his cards pretty careful, brave man he was

“You are a brave guy you know? You know exactly what to say at the exact time, and by the way thank you for your advice but I don’t think I am going to follow it right now, I am good thanks and I think I am just perfectly fine, I don’t need an extra addition of a man in my life except for the two that already exist so no to your suggestion’ she said with a smile and he smiled back reassuringly, despite the fact that she did not want to see him in her house, she at least invited him in and they held a normal conversation, to him that was a good start because he knew that he was finally going to convince her at the end of the day, at least that is why he was there

“Okay as you say Becca but whenever you want a friend I will be here, I don’t know how t put this but I like you, your personality, how you carry yourself and honestly t won’t hurt if I had you in my life” he said and she chuckled

“And how exactly do you want me in your life Anthon?” she asked

“As a friend Becca, I would love to be to be friends with you” he said and Becca shook her head with a smile on her face then left him in the living room and headed for her room upstairs, she wanted to change into something more comfortable, she was wearing a pair of tight jeans and it wasn’t really comfortable so she walked into her room and closed the door behind her
