Looking at the ultrasound picture that has been torn into four pieces, breaks my heart further, he really meant what he said. Tears burn the back of my eyes and anger rises up within me. I walk out of the bedroom and down the hallway towards the living room. I hear the front door close. As I make my way into the lounge, Connor walks in and he looks at me.
"What are you doing here?" He asks me, his brows furrowed.
"I came to fetch my laptop" I say "I will be leaving again" I hold the laptop close to my chest.
"Don't even bother to come back, and you can clear everything by tomorrow" he says to me as he walks past me. I know he has been drinking.
