CONNOR'S POV
I sit next to Leah's hospital bed, my elbows are on the bed with my head in my hands. I get to be here with Leah, I wasn't anywhere near Joan when she got an abortion. I couldn't handle that, I had to stay away. This was something that ripped me to shreds, I look at Leah, she sleeps so peacefully. I want a life with her. I never saw the day when I would actually meet someone that steals my heart, even for me to love her, its a brand new feeling that I'm not used to.
