We were at Lexus until it was almost dinner time, I still thought about Connor, as much as I want to know what is really bothering him, I decide that I rather would not. I am just going to put my heart in danger if I always have to try with him. One minute I do not know if we're together and the next if we're not. So for me to be on the safe side, is to stay safe from heartache. As much as I love him, its the right thing to do.
Anna drops me off at the Emery's residence. I ring the door bell, Henry opens the door with a bright smile that sweeps me off my feet. Gosh the Emery brothers are attractive.
"Hey Leah" Henry embraces me into a big, warm hug. It feels so good to be hugged. I close my eyes just enjoying the hug and his scent. But that scent isn't Connor.
