"Wake up, sweetness." I whisper as I run my fingers through Luci's hair. I hate to wake her, but I need to take her home to get her car after I drop Cole at school, which means an earlier wake-up. She needs to sleep after yesterday. I could tell it took a toll on her mentally. I managed to sneak out of bed and workout without waking her an hour ago.
