"I am sorry to ask but what does that mean?" I ask Mr. Remus who is looking at me with a sinister smirk.
"Oh! Donovan, my boy!!! You did not tell her about that too?" He asks as he looks at Donovan.
And with that, my eyes fall on Donovan as well. The one who I was happy for when he told me that he came to me to tell that he has been recruited as member of spiral council.
"Is it bad?" I ask him.
Donovan looks at me and his eyebrows knit closer,"What makes you think it is?"
"Because you would have told me if it was good for me," I say with a shrug.
I notice Gerald's eyes get softer and a tiny smile tugs at his lips as he looks at the ceiling. I look at Donovan who now has softer eyes too.
