Lina's POV
"I want you to focus all your energy on this, okay?" Uncle Carl says.
I nod again. He is an Oracle. A messenger of Moon Goddess. So I just need to trust him and do what he says.
I take the Moonstone in my hand. And close it with another hand. I then look at Uncle Carl who has his eyes closed as he whispers something to himself.
I look around. It must be midnight. I look at Donovan and he smiles at me. Throws his thumbs up and he clearly looks like he wants to cheer for me but doesn't know how to.
"I love you" I mouth to him and he smiles wide.
"I love you too" he mouths towards me.
And I stand there with the Moonstone in my hand. Waiting for Uncle Carl's further instructions.
