Darya slipped into bed, staring at the ceiling and pondering the events of the last few days. She and Kostas had gone to visit Lyra in the hospital. Kostas had sat with her while she had explained to both Lyra and Kristin all the things their parents had done and how Miguel and their father had plotted to use each other for cash.
She let them know the two men owed millions of dollars to an Italian mafia and it was very clear their mother not only knew of the actions of their father but supported him completely. She had been overheard in a coffee shop saying Miguel had better be able to convince Lyra to make Darya give them money.
