I am so glad for true friends like Emily, Claire and Sonia. Michael called them and filled them in on my latest family drama. They dropped everything to support me. Michael even had his priest come speak with me and reassure me that God wasn't displeased with me. I swear I feel so lucky to have Michael in my life.
Michael had to go to work today.
I needed some air.
So the girls and I decided to go for a long jog around the neighborhood. We had been out jogging for a solid two hours when I asked if they wanted to stop and get ice cream. Then, we could walk back to Michael's place. They agreed with me.
We were leaving the ice cream parlor with our ice cream cones when I first saw the police car.
I really didn't pay it any mind till we got a few blocks away from the ice-c
