It was finally time for the ritual. Everyone was seated, waiting for Aiden to arrive. I sat with Katie, Sarah, and Scott. Soon enough, I saw him walking towards the fountain side and all eyes were on him.
He was dressed in a beautiful dark blue robe. He looked so powerful and tall and I couldn’t help but admire him as he walked towards the crowd.
Immediately after he arrived, one of the elders began the ceremony. When he knelt in front of the man, I watched him as he scanned around the crowd as though he was looking for someone.
‘I’m so proud of you.’ I said through a mind link when our eyes met each other. He responded with a smile and I couldn’t help but be so proud of him.
The elder began to read out the words of the ritual. After he was done, he handed Aiden the gob
