I was with some of my friends when my phone buzzed with a text from Noah asking me to pick her up. Noah didn’t like the idea of staying at the college dormitory, so she would attend classes from home every day.
Harlan University wasn’t far from Hawkins. It was located in the city of Kingsport, which was only about a thirty-minute drive from Hawkins.
I excused myself from them and went to the car. Shortly after, I arrived at the university. She had told me was waiting at the front gate but I couldn’t find her when I arrived.
