The best defense is a good offense. It’s one of many lessons I learned from my time in the military, so when the other man challenges me, I scour my memory for anything I can use against him in order to deflect the attention off myself.
Dalton told me there have been whispers among the other men that this particular man’s wolf, Aspen, is having a hard time controlling his human side.
