Callie's POV...
I was pacing through the room and trying not to bite my nails. "You're going to dig a hole on the ground," said Helena as she sat on one of the beds with a blanket around her. It was getting very cold in the tunnels, when an elder had offered me a blanket I rejected it and said he should have it. He needed it more than I did. The pups were huddled together to keep warm, with a big blanket over them as they slept or at least tried to.
How long had we been here? I looked at my watch that said 6pm. The walk here and their games must have tired them out. I groaned in frustration and looked at the open map that was on the table. I had to get out now or I was going to lose it.
