Epilogue
"My love, wake up," I felt my mate shaking me awake and I groaned in protest. Xander laughed and I heard his footsteps as they started to fade. Happily, I was beginning to fall asleep when I felt cold water dropping on me.
My eyes instantly opened and I gasped in shock. I got up, water dripping from my hair and clothes. I glared at my mate who was grinning at me innocently and his hands behind him. "Xander Beck what is wrong with you?" I asked and my mate laughed. His laugh made my heart flutter and some of my anger disappeared. I frowned and looked at him with my arms crossed over my chest as I waited for Xander to finish laughing.
"I'm sorry Princess, I just had to do it, you looked so vulnerable," he explained, his eyes still shinning. I rolled my eyes and walked past him.
