After dinner, Liam and Dylan are both eager to spend time with their mates. Layla shakes her head after Liam practically bolts from the dining room. Her dad tells us goodnight and I stare at her. “Like to play cards or board games?”
She looks taken aback. “You play board games?”
“Monopoly reigning champ in my family thank you very much.” I flex my arm muscles and she presses her lips together to fight the grin.
“We have Uno. Maybe Monopoly too.” She says reluctantly.
