Avery I woke disorientated, feeling like a badger had slept in my mouth. The pillow next to my head moved up and down rhythmically. Taking in my unfamiliar surroundings, I realised my entire bed moved up and down and seemed higher than a normal bed. I sat up and registered three things. One, these weren’t my quarters. Two, I’d slept in some kind of nest of pillows, and three, said nest was perched on top of a sleeping dragon.
