I'm not a light sleeper. Even when I'm really tired, I could sleep all day and it was pretty hard to wake me up. But that soft groaning sound was like a special alarm in my brain, instantly waking me up to find out who was making my ears twitch with that groan. My eyes slowly opened, and my eyelashes, tangled together, started to separate like two sides of a curtain, revealing eyes as clear as ruby gems, glowing red when touched by the moonlight. Because I had fallen asleep, when I woke up, the first thing that hit me was a dizzy feeling in my head, as if scolding me for waking up all my resting organs forcefully. Even though I wanted to defend myself that I didn't mean to wake up, the idea of complaining to myself would make me seem crazy, talking to myself in the middle of the night,
