“Mmh …,” I groaned softly as I held the back of my neck, which felt really sore for some reason. Slowly but surely, I started to regain consciousness, and now the pain at the back of my neck felt even more intense.
It felt like something had hit the back of my neck quickly and hard. I could feel a bit of bluish-purple color there, like a bruise. Did I accidentally slip and fall, hitting a dull rock?
When I opened my eyes, I realized I was in the same place where I had woken up yesterday afternoon. Wait a minute, is this some kind of time jump or something?
