"You... you were definitely going to die soon!"
The old man's voice sounded very loud and his face looked scared, making Isabella stop and wonder what the old man meant. Plus, Isabella also felt scared facing his really scary expression.
"What did you mean, Grandpa?" Isabella asked softly, glancing around because she was afraid their conversation would be heard by other visitors and it would be very embarrassing.
However, instead of getting a clear and straightforward answer about why the old man suddenly cursed her to die in broad daylight, Isabella heard the homeless old man continue muttering something in a low and fast voice. He moved his body back and forth slowly as if swinging.
When Isabella heard what he said, she could not help but widen her eyes in shock.
