Esmerelda is everything ready for our attack tomorrow night. "Yes, Alpha, the witches have already arrived." Good my men are ready and I am ready to take back what is mine. You're dismissed Esmerelda, I say, and she leaves my office. I head down to the cells to pay one last visit to the traitor. Esmerelda has agreed to take him as payment for helping me. She has finally accepted that I will never make her mine, so he is the next best thing. It wouldn't bother me one bit to end his pathetic life, but if I know Esmerelda she will use him and then end him when she is bored. I walk past the guard that I keep outside his cell.
