I sit in the waiting room holding Talon's hand. I'm still in shock that I'm having a pup and that it protected me from Hayden. I wish that we could celebrate the pup right now, but instead I have to worry about a friend dying. I say a prayer to the goddess to heal Holden and let him live a long happy life. A few minutes later, the doctor comes out to speak to us. "Alpha, my name is Dr. Jameson." "I've examined Holden." "We have stabilized him the best we can with his current injuries."
