A few days after the director came around, a truck pulled into the back of the shop with Max’s company logo on the side. When they started offloading, Magenta walked out the side door.
“What the hell is going on here? If you ever wanted to give that damn director a flare to show him to come here and look for the machine, you just did that!”
“Well, once these babies are installed, he is welcome to pop around.” Max winks at her, and it infuriates her that he basically just takes over everything.
Not only did his men deliver, but they also moved the machine and equipment around to reach the places they needed. Magenta and Mischief were about to have a huge fit when Max handed each of them a chocolate bar.
