Magenta has to distract him from going into the cabin! Looking around her for some way to get him away from the door, she grabs the first rock she can find and throws it as far away from her as possible, moving quickly to get closer to the cabin.
She watches as Bernard looks in the direction of the noise. He finally moves away from the cabin and into the forest while Magenta keeps a close eye on him. She hopes that Max heard him leave, and she makes her way down to the cabin keeping a close eye on Bernard.
“Magenta!” Max exclaims when he finds her around the corner of the cabin.
“What are you doing here?”
