"Your daughter can be a great cook" Kaustuki smiled biting into the cookie. Sanyukta smiled. The warm milk and some cookies did the trick.
As soon as Sanyukta had opened the door she knew something was wrong. Kaustuki knocking at this hour was really weird. After Kaustuki hugged Sanyukta at the door, Sanyukta's question got confirmed.
She bought Kaustuki inside and offered to sit on the chair, gave her some water and then talked to her.
Apparently, she had a huge argument with Chris but she didn't tell Sanyukta the reason of their argument.
"Do you need anything else?" Sanyukta asked stifling her yawn.
"No, I'm fine and thank you so much for letting me in at this hour. It really means a lot" Kaustuki sai
