Elijah had pulled the center table in the sitting room to the side, spread the plaid blanket on the ground and arranged the food stuff he had packed which included, sandwiches, a bottle of well aged wine with a bowl of caramel apples and diced meat mixed with pepper.
They had both sat in the middle of the blanket with the food between them. Eddie hadn’t stopped smiling and Elijah couldn’t stop looking at him. Elijah picked up a stick of the candy apple and held it to Eddie’s lips, he watched as the man’s lips parted and he took a bite of the apple. Elijah’s gaze dropped to his boyfriend’s lips and his pulled up into a smirk before he leaned forward and kissed Eddie, effectively licking off the caramel that rubbed off on his lips.
