Alaia was still pissed at Jasper. And it was foreign for them both to be at odds, and for others to observe. Dinner at the Knights was usually a fun affair, but with him trying to engage Alaia and her purposely ignoring him made everything tense.
Jasper sighed as Eric and Sophia talked with Desmond about stocks. Loren and Haven were in their usual love bubble as Rayne sat at the table talking with her grandfather quietly.
Jasper sighed as he looked over at Alaia, “Are you going to stay pissed at me?” Alaia grabbed her wine, “I don’t know Jasper, how about you go and talk to Roxie about it.”
Jasper groaned, “You’re being ridiculous!” Alaia’s glass shattered in her hand, and as she slung the glass on the table, everyone watched her get up, “And you’re a hypocrite!”
