Gretchen woke up to her phone ringing. Laying in her bed covered in files, she groggily grabbed her phone and answered, “’ello?” Hearing noise and then, “Hello? Is this Detective Gretchen Moon?” Gretchen nodded as she rubbed her eyes, “Yes.” The woman on the phone, a high-pitched woman chirped, “Hi this is Susan Baker from Devil’s Horns town hall. You had called asking about a few residences in our area?”
Sitting up Gretchen eagerly said, “Yes I was calling about a Daniel Wynter. Could you tell me anything about him?”
Susan nodded sitting down at her desk casually, “Yes I went to school with his son actually! He was a nice older man, really handsome!” Gretchen rolled her eyes as she played nice, “Cool. And do you know if he’s ever had any run ins with the law?” Susan laughed lightly,
