Daniel had been thinking about his date with Amelia since it had been proposed. To be honest the older vampire had been holding his breath waiting for her to cancel or ghost him. But he wasn’t being ghosted and unlike he feared, Amelia seemed to genuinely like him.
After making them reservations and assuring her whatever she wore would be fine, he set his watch until he could pick her up. Until then, he’d work but more importantly, he fed.
