Stephan Black walked into his Beta’s mother’s house nervously. Walking in, he smiled seeing Lora knitting away as she sat comfortable in her chair. “Evening momma Lora.” Lora looked at Stephan and smiled, “Hey boy, how you today?” Kissing her cheek, Stephan beamed at her, “Fine and you?” Lora shrugged casually, “Just being.” Stephan laughed begore sitting in front of her, “So… I read some chicken bones the other day. It had me worried, but I chalked it up to me being paranoid.” Lora felt elated having heard about the bones found, “Oh so it’s been you practicing! My son was blue in the face when he found those bones, thought it was me.” Stephan instantly felt bad, but Lora waved off her son’s anger, “What did you see suga?” Stephan swallowed hard in fear, “Death, the loss of innocence, the arrival of something dark.” Lora nodded in agreement as she peered up at sky, “Yes, and the arrival has already passed. Something is here and it’s not to be taken lightly.” Leaning in, Stephan seriously predicted, “I think it’s something to do with Yasmine’s kid. Jasper I think his name is? He’s seeing a vampire, Roxie told me all about it. She’s tried to convince him to leave her, but he’s adamant on being with her.” Lora kept knitting as she hummed, “I’ve heard of this. And while Roxie’s heart is in the right place, her actions will lead to her losing a friend.” Stephan looked at Lora surprised she was so calm about this. Usually when something in the spirit world of supernatural was off she was all over it. But this time she took no action to stop what was coming. “Are you not worrying about how this will affect our people?” He questioned. Lora grinned as she told him sweetly, “Of course. But it’s not our people who will be affected. We’re a subplot in this legend, and I’ve seen no danger to us. And neither have you.” Watching Lora uneasy, Stephan asked dumbly, “So are you saying I should do nothing?” Lora finally met Stephan’s eyes as she eerily told him, “Wait, listen, watch. No need for action, not on our parts.” And as Stephan wondered on who’s part needed action, the doors to a private jet were thrown open in a rush.
