I touched down at home, landing on my bedroom balcony feeling frustrated and drained. What the hell was going on with me that meant I kept allowing myself to get distracted during missions? The tiniest little occurrence and I totally lost the hold I’d had over those men’s minds tonight. Plus, all the brain fog and the flash backs that kept happening at the worst possible times, were making it nearly impossible to stay focused or regather myself once I’d already lost my mind. I thought back to what Sabine had said to me after my first mission back, her words a constant echo because I knew they were important. So has it started yet? Your fear?
