Hallie’s P.O.V
I was pacing my apartment, waiting for Penny to get here. Deacon was still playing on mind but right now Penny and I sorting things out are more important right now. I had been a mess but hearing from Penny has given me some hope.
“Hallie?” I hear Penny call out
“Living room.” I called back
Soon enough she was rushing towards me, pulling me into her and hugging me
“Hallie I am so sorry, I should never have said those things, left you like that. I am a terrible best friend.” She said crying
I hugged her back tightly, crying too
“No I am sorry, you had the right to be mad. I should never have lied to you like that, went near Deacon that way that was so wrong of me.” I sobbed
Penny pulled away from the hug, grabbing my hand and looked at me
