Hallie’s P.O.V
It had been a couple of days since lunch with Penny and Deacon. I did plan on calling him, just wanted to make him sweat for a couple of days first, he had text me once and I told him to let me be and he did. I know I was an i***t for forgiving him again but I can’t help myself when it comes to him. I decided since I was not doing anything I would call him. I grabbed my phone calling him and within a second he answered
“I thought you were never gonna call.” He said
“Were you sitting by the phone waiting for me to call? Don’t think anyone has ever answered the phone to me that quickly.” I said smirking to myself
“What? No, of course I was not.” He said quickly
“OK if you insist.” I said rolling my eyes even though he couldn’t see me
“You forgave me yet?” he asked
