Their relationship was going well. Lucian continued working, but he planned to file his resignation soon. He and Georgina often went out together, making the most of every day they had. They didn’t shop much, but they traveled. They visited New York, Florida, Vegas, and even went down south to Cuba and Mexico. Their next trip was to Jamaica. Their vacations were short, usually just two days and three nights, but they enjoyed every moment of it.
Lucian was at work when an unknown number called him. He stopped what he was doing and answered the phone. He stood up and closed the door so their conversation wouldn’t be overheard.
