Danaya continued serving Kyros and his men until they left. Kyros made a few more attempts at trying to get her, but she was firm in her decision.
"That's good, Ms. Danaya. Don't ever let him tell you what to do. You're the master of this game," Maribel said while Danaya got her things.
"Yes, Ms. Maribel," she replied. "I haven't found anything today," she added and heaved a sigh, clutching her bag.
"Oh, it's okay, Ms. Danaya. It's just starting. He'll soon uncover his secret. You need to be patient and endure it all," Maribel said, tapping her shoulder.

"Alpha Alister's waiting for you; let's go," Maribel said, smiling. She guided Danaya out of the backdoor, and they saw Alister leaning on his car, arms crossed.
