As the sun rose in the Shadowblade pack, Alister woke up feeling the stinging pain in his arm where the bite wound had disappeared. When he removed the bandage and examined his arm, he saw that the wound had healed, leaving only a scar.
"What the f*ck?" he whispered. Alister rushed out of the bed and went inside the bathroom, carefully not to wake Danaya up. He lifted his arm in front of the mirror and was amazed that his wound really did heal.
"What just happened? How in h*ll did it heal?" Alister whispered. He went out of the bathroom and checked Danaya. He kissed her on the forehead before leaving for the hospital.
When Alister arrived at the hospital, he went to Nikolai's office.
"Good morning, Alpha. What brings you here?" Nikolai asked, sipping his coffee.
